I installed these on all my Holiday lights in my front yard, and 2 days later, it poured rain for another 2 days straight! So far, so good...with the Lights sill on! (knock on wood). Great customer service as well. Highly recommended!
Grace MillerOur outdoor lights kept getting tripped because of the rain even though they were plugged into an outdoor outlet. We added these and we haven't had an issue since. So simple and effective. Highly recommend.
JamesWorked great. Used these to keep Christmas lights and extension cords connections dry. Haven't had a problem yet here in Maine.
bigtruckTerrific product, my Christmas lights stay on no matter what the weather is rain, snow whatever it doesn’t matter.
David L. VialeI had no breaker trips with all of the rain we have had.
COLBY2easy to use and keeps my GFI from tripping.
Amazon CustomerThese worked great for the lighting outside this Christmas. Never had any issues even with all the rain.
AMI do both a Halloween yard haunt as well as Christmas display on my lawn. I had an issue where water got into some of the extension cord connections and tripping the upstream GFCI outlet. I started to use a variety of other products and even going as primitive as wrapping electrical tape around where the plugs connect. That worked but left a mess of sticky adhesive when removing the tape to disconnect. I tried to make my own gaskets (similar to this product) using a thin layer of foam. It wasn't pretty and worked but took way to long and I had a lot of plug connections to protect . I saw these silicone gaskets but held off because I felt they were just too expensive. After another year of experiencing issues, I caved and just ordered it. They are very flexible which makes it both easy and a bit challenging to install them over the plug, but they absolutely work and work well. They seem to do the trick because I ran into no issues the first year I used them. I only purchased the 50 pack and needed more so I order another set. Yes, they are expensive but they do work. Like many other times in life...you get what you pay for. I would both recommend and purchase again if needed.
DLee5 Stars for product itself, 2 stars for the price. These work great and so far my breakers haven't kicked off in the rain (I run a LOT of Christmas lights), however I also replaced my outside electrical outlets with quality weatherproof boxes. These are a gummy super soft gel so long at the connection is good they'll keep the water out. Unfortunately product is patented as reflected in the price ($1 each for a little piece of silicon), but bottom line they do the job... believe me have looked for a similar product for less money but just none out there, so hopefully these will last a long time.
Happy ShopperThese are awesome! I have plug-in type landscape lights with extension cords covered by mulch. I was having problems with the GFI kicking the breaker when it rained a lot. I put these on wherever there was a plug connection and it has rained a lot since and I’ve even seen water standing where there’s a plug connection. I’ve had them on for about three months and as of yet - no breaker kick- off! They are wonderful!!
J SmithExpensive, but very good quality. Worked very well on my weather exposed christmas lights. The connections look like they're glued together once installed - no water infiltration. But they came back apart with no trouble and clean enough to reuse next year.
Elizabethcompletely waterproofed my Christmas lights this year! First year with no issues!!
Howard G.I had a problem with GFI tripping in the rain. These solved the problem.
